About the new Halo Learn mobile app.

Introducing the new Halo Learn mobile app and Halo Alert system, designed to keep you connected to your Halo classroom, ensuring you stay informed while on the go.

The Halo Learn mobile app and alert sidebar allow you to receive push notifications for alerts related to all your Halo classrooms, regardless of class role.
Students and Instructors can receive alerts in the Halo alert sidebar and mobile app when they receive a new private message or a new announcement. Additionally, Halo students can receive alerts when an assessment score is published, when any assessment is reassigned, or when a new post is posted to the group collaboration space for group assignments. Both students and instructors can expect more new alert types to be added in 2025.

All alerts in Halo are opt-in, giving you the flexibility to choose which alerts to receive and on which devices. You can easily adjust your alert preferences directly in the mobile app or Halo website. Please note that you must have an active Halo Learn account with GCU or a GCU partner school to use the Halo Learn mobile app.
