Enabling Alerts you want to receive
On the Alerts page, you’ll see a message that says: “You have no alerts right now". To ensure you are set to receive alerts, click the My Halo Settings link to manage your alert settings.
On the Alerts page, you can select to receive the Alert messages you want to receive and how you would like to receive them.
There are two ways to receive alerts from Halo:
In-Halo Alert - will show the alert in the “My Alerts” sidebar in Halo.
Mobile App - will send notifications to the "Halo Learn" mobile app
Available Alert Messages:
Announcements
When a new announcement is published
Group Collaborations
When a new Group Collaboration message is posted
Messages
When a new private message is received
Assessment Submissions
When an assessment score is published
When an assessment is reassigned.
Once you have selected these options, click "Save" at the top of the page. After saving, you will start receiving alerts on your devices.
We plan to add additional alert message types in 2025. Please submit any ideas for alert types you would like to receive to the Halo Idea Portal or click the Report a bug link in the mobile app to share your ideas with us there.
